Lu Yin had guessed that this might happen once Fate was seen with him at the Main River of Time. He just hadn't expected it to happen so soon.
"How many time nodes do you have left, senior?"
"Quite a lot, but with the Time Master taking action, they won't last long."
Lu Yin's expression grew heavy. He had Death God contact Wang Wen again.
"The Time Master has detected the time nodes and is erasing them. The worst has happened. Unless we find a way to stop this, the Mitian Grand Plan is bound to fail."
Wang Wen looked at Lu Yin with utmost seriousness. "Chess Piece Dao Master, I'll say it again: I can't find Lord Mi or Mr. Free and Easy, and I have no way to contact them. So I can do nothing about the current situation. If the Mitian Grand Plan really fails, we'll just have to try again."
"While doing our best to survive the Five Great Masters' relentless pursuit, we'll infiltrate the time nodes again. That's the only way I can think of."
Lu Yin stared deeply at Wang Wen.
Wang Wen didn't back down in the slightest.
In the end, Lu Yin ended the conversation without another word. At this point, there was no way to openly stand against the Masters.
