Chapter Summaries

While the X-Men and their allies hunted Vampires across New York, Li Ang spoke with Susan Storm at the Empire State Building party and learned that her brother Johnny had disappeared after gaining powers. Emma Frost warned that Dracula had arrived, leaving Li Ang and the others facing the Vampire threat at the party.

• Psylocke, Magik, Dagger, Professor X, Magneto Erik, and Mystique Raven helped clear Vampires from New York, while Professor X said the Empire State Building was not their concern.
• Li Ang welcomed Susan Storm at the party, and they discussed Mutants and humanity as they got to know each other.

• A robber accidentally shot Ajani, but she stood up and sealed her wound with tape before police arrived.
• James Gordon told Li Ang about Ajani, and Li Ang recognized the Holy Mother’s presence inside her.
• Ajani confronted Li Ang at the police station, and Gordon let him take her away after she could not answer basic questions.
