Background / History

Qi Hanyua was a quiet preparatory-class student with exceptional alchemy potential but an unstable Dao Heart. She kept her head down behind long bangs and was known to lose motivation easily; passing the preparatory-class assessment was reportedly difficult for her. Her talents, Limitless and Acquired Pill Saint, drew Su Yuan’s interest when he first approached her. 199

Initially suspicious of the Yuan Cult, Qi Hanyua agreed to deduce the Nine Revolutions Golden Pill recipe after Su Yuan promised patent income and an introduction to her idol, Yin Qiyue. She carefully documented Wu Ziying’s reaction to the pill, including its temporary side effects. 200 She later produced three workable pill recipes, though Su Yuan found their material costs too high and revised them with cheaper Spirit Beast-derived ingredients. 203
