Ekko hadn't explained why he'd invited him, but Jayce figured it was probably about some kind of license again. Zaun's alchemical industrial style differed from Hextech, but there was a lot of overlap. In such cases, Zaun sometimes needed very specific, standalone technical licenses.

Ekko had always been the one to communicate with Jayce, so Jayce didn't think much of the invitation.

"If you're talking about sponsorship... perhaps?" Ekko expertly bumped shoulders with Jayce and then made way for him. "This is Mr. Karya. He's a master of Magic Theory and is here primarily to offer some assistance with Magic Theory."

Jayce's expression turned subtle. He narrowed his eyes slightly, looking hesitantly at the boastful Karya.

"If I'm not mistaken, the biggest problem in researching the Hextech magic interface you mentioned in the interview is the uncontrollability of magic power," Karya continued. "The Hextech rune interface is equipped with many visualization plugins to observe the Hextech energy converted from rune power, but these plugins are all post-installation."
