Those walking corpses weren't actually that powerful. Compared to the Zerg swarms Raynor had once fought tooth and nail, they were pathetically weak! But no matter how weak they were, their sheer numbers, fearlessness, and contagiousness made them a serious threat!

At first, the people of this world had still had a chance...

But when the scattered, mutually distrustful armies of the various countries fell before the civilians, and the virus began spreading on a massive scale across the entire planet, it was already too late!
