On August 10, 2552, Annie had already spent a full fifteen days at that special military training ground for the Marine Corps and Fleet, and at the preparatory officer school!
Over those fifteen days, she'd enjoyed a fulfilling life of training (playing around) and learning all kinds of important combat skills (causing trouble for others and using her talent to thoroughly crush them). Before long, she'd deservedly become Class C's "No. 1" (biggest troublemaker), earned all sorts of "Outstanding Trainee Awards" (disciplinary actions and punishments), and become the talk of the entire training camp and military school (after being publicly reprimanded several times).

She wore a child-sized, all-black ODST jumpsuit, a burning-skull ODST insignia on her arm, and held an SRS99 special-purpose sniper rifle issued by the military school.
She'd been holding this position for nearly two hours, and planned to stay put, helping her teammates eliminate the imaginary "enemy forces" opposing them?

After stretching, she opened her helmet's visor and rubbed her sleepy eyes. Then Annie switched to the public channel and spoke in an adorable voice.
She'd never tell her teammates or
