A certain little girl named Annie had impressed everyone with her battlefield performance at the Visegrád Relay, and had been spared the trouble of being sent to an orphanage and treated as a "war orphan." Some bigwigs in the UNSC Army had even arranged a special plane to bring her to this UNSC-affiliated special military training ground and reserve officer academy for the Marines and Fleet, located just outside the bustling city of New Alexandria.
What Noble Team didn't know was that this place was also a training camp for the Helljumpers (ODST), who had little love for Spartans—in fact, they were downright hostile toward them.
Anyway, Annie had already spent two whole days at this fairly small military training ground and reserve officer academy...
On her first day, she had met a bearded colonel whose name she hadn't even managed to remember, then met the headmaster, Peter. After that, she had officially become a proud reserve officer cadet: a military academy student with no rank who wouldn't graduate for at least a few years.
