On a dark, windy night, beneath the cover of night, moonlight, and shadows, at the top of the Frostfall Mountains, deep inside the underground catacombs of Bleak Falls Barrow, Larolf and Zagan—who had worked up the nerve to venture farther into the tomb in search of someone—had yet to run into any obstacles.

So now, the two men—who seemed to have come to Bleak Falls Barrow solely to collect loot and grave goods, and had already reaped quite a haul—crawled through a thick, blackened steel door that had been melted open by brute force and still radiated astonishing heat. Soon, Larolf and Zagan finally reached the deepest part of the tomb: a cool cavern with an underground river and a small waterfall. There, they at last spotted a little girl studying something in front of a circular wall covered in strange symbols. In one hand, she held a bright orb that illuminated the entire tomb.
There was no doubt about it. Who else could this be but the little girl
