As an Arcane Archmage, Annie could naturally have used another disguise spell, or changed her clothes, hairstyle, and hair color through the clothing and settings in her quest panel to achieve a certain degree of disguise... However, after clearing countless different dungeons over the past two months, she still preferred using this orb she had obtained by killing those corrupted High Elves in Sunwell Plateau. That way, she absolutely did not have to worry about being recognized by anyone in this VR game—or by anyone in "Oasis."
Of course, in a place like "Oasis," she had absolutely no need to worry about being attacked. Still, if she could avoid unnecessary trouble, such as being followed, stalked, or harassed by people with ulterior motives, she was more than willing to slightly alter her appearance.
