Unfortunately, and contrary to the wishful thinking of certain people at IOI, the explosion caused by the pre-planted charges and the bottomless cliffs of icy sea surrounding Anorak's Castle like a moat did nothing to stop the OASIS players from advancing!

The OASIS players quickly found all sorts of ways to cross: flying, gliding, leaping, building bridges, and even getting help from a certain little girl mage, who flew back down and cast a new Teleport gate. In less than five minutes, they broke through the castle gates defended by IOI's soldiers and stormed into the enormous castle with unstoppable force. They began the final "street fight" against the IOI soldiers defending the castle and making their last stand.
Inside the castle...
Although IOI's soldiers used the castle's terrain and fortifications to inflict heavy casualties on the players, there were simply far too many OASIS players. Millions more were still outside Anorak's Castle, unable to squeeze their way in. So the number of players the IOI soldiers killed was nothing compared to the vast horde.
