The roar of a magic-powered car engine echoed through this Kuroba Grand Canyon, across this seemingly bottomless gorge, made up mostly of dangerous cliffs, towering stone pillars, sheer mountains, and terrifying abysses.
Anyone who happened to be here would have been astonished to see a seemingly battered magic-powered car racing along the rails like a train—perhaps even faster than one.
Its four wheels clung impossibly to the two rails, with each pair of wheels straddling a rail. The tires were slightly compressed beneath the car's weight, fitting the smooth rails perfectly. Driven by its magic-powered engine, they spun madly at incredible speed, sending the entire car hurtling forward until it vanished into the distance.

A carefree little girl, apparently having forgotten all about her actual mission as she focused on enjoying herself, sat excitedly in the open driver's seat of the magic-powered car, cheering.
Since it was traveling on rails, the ride was incredibly smooth. There were no bumpy dirt roads to worry about; it was even smoother than some highways. So Annie had already pushed the car to nearly two hundred kilometers per hour, and it was still gradually accelerating.
Of course, driving a car on this kind of "road" was dangerous. Anyone else behind the wheel would be doomed if they made even one wrong move.
Fortunately, the troublesome little girl didn't need to worry about that. Her driving skills were top-notch. She could drive on these fixed rails, sure—but she could even pilot a Gundam through a battlefield filled with gunfire, darting back and forth through enemy lines a hundred times without a scratch on her machine!
