After Erza, Natsu, Gray, and Lucy teamed up to capture nearly every member of the dark guild Eisenwald, and after a certain troublesome little girl had successfully defeated Erigor and the legendary demon Lullaby, the major incident that had threatened the lives of all the guild masters in the Alliance of Wizard Guilds had basically come to an end.
(Somewhere, Natsu was crying in the bathroom, his achievements completely forgotten...)
After the battle at Oshibana Station, every member of Eisenwald except its master, Erigor, was declared guilty by the High Magic Council and handed over to the kingdom for imprisonment. They would face trials based on their crimes, followed by prison sentences of varying lengths and fines.
As for the mastermind, who was still missing—the Eisenwald master Erigor, who had fallen into the bottomless abyss of the Kuroba Grand Canyon and vanished without a trace—he was simply labeled as presumed dead (or missing), and the matter was left at that.
After all, the Kuroba Grand Canyon was a terrifying place, a natural labyrinth. Even the most experienced "hunters" in the Hunters' Guild could never find their way out once they got lost!
So even the High Council wasn't eager to send people or post a job asking wizards to search such a dangerous place for someone whose fate was unknown.
And so, Erigor was conveniently forgotten...
As for the poor demon Lullaby, whom a certain troublesome little girl had turned into a hamster and then gotten bored of, it was naturally sealed away once more in a sturdy magical item. Who knew where the Magic Council had hidden it for safekeeping?
