The Goa Kingdom was far removed from the noisy world, like a spotless mirror. It was hailed as the most beautiful country in the East Blue, while also perfectly excluding all unnecessary things. It took no part in the struggle for world domination or politics, and could certainly be called the most successful example of an "isolated society" in the world!
After the Summit War ended, Garp returned to his hometown of Foosha Village in the Goa Kingdom and began his vacation. He spent quite a while enjoying a comfortable, leisurely life.
That lasted until a fellow he found incredibly irritating and unwelcome came looking for him in person: Marshal Sengoku, wearing a pair of frog glasses, a military cap bearing a soaring seagull, and a long beard tied into an ugly braid beneath his chin.
"Oh?"
"Sengoku, you're here?"
"Mm!"
"I'm here..."
"Have a seat?"
"What would you like to drink? But I should warn you, all I have is tea. I just ate the last of the snacks."
Looking at his visitor, the highest-ranking commander in the Navy, Monkey D. Garp grinned. In the end, he put on a stern face, made a few perfunctory pleasantries, and invited the other man to sit.
"Heh."
"No need. I'll stand. The view's quite nice here."
"Mind if I take a look?"
Sengoku first gave Garp a long look. Then, without saying anything, he clasped his hands behind his back, took a couple of steps forward, and stood in front of Garp's seat, gazing into the distance. He looked out at the beautiful island, the rows of turning windmills, and the ocean beyond, and let out a quiet sigh.
"Look?"
"Sure!"
