Just the next day, Blaidd the Werewolf hurried away from the Nokron region of the Eternal City beneath the Siofra River Well and returned to Caria Manor. He made his way to the entrance of Seluvis's Rise, one of the Three Sisters towers in the Carian royal family's back garden on the plateau behind the manor.
The reason he could get back so quickly was, naturally, the convenient portals found all over the Lands Between.
As Ranni's servant and shadow, Blaidd always had a way of finding portals he could use. He knew how to operate them, and how to pick the right one to teleport straight back to the Liurnia region—or even directly to the Three Sisters.

Looking at the wizard's tower before him, Blaidd really didn't want to see a certain someone inside. But given that his mission had reached a dead end, he thought it over and, in the end, gritted his teeth and walked in.
Just as he had told Annie in the underground world, he really had come back to interrogate Seluvis. Whether he would actually bite the man, of course, remained to be seen.

"But I heard Iji locked you up?"
"How depressing. I thought I'd never have to look at your furry face again..."
