In Leyndell, the royal capital, beside the cliff near the Erdtree, Annie had lit a bonfire inside a vast, empty palace-like building not far from the two oddballs—the Goldmask and the cleric. She planned to rest there for the night and have something to eat.

It wasn't that Annie didn't want to find somewhere cleaner and more comfortable in the city proper. It was just that people were still running all over the place looking for her, making a racket even now. So she'd chosen a spot with few people around that nobody usually came to.
