Because Lumine had unexpectedly gained the power of Anemo from the Statue of The Seven in the middle of Starfell Lake—and because a certain troublesome little girl had accidentally damaged the statue—Paimon and Lumine had no choice but to set off for Mondstadt the very next day. They had to go whether for Lumine's ultimate goal or to avoid being arrested by the Knights of Favonius, who were frantically searching for the suspected god-blasphemer.

In Paimon's opinion, gaining elemental power was incredibly difficult for ordinary people. It required a magical external organ called a "Vision." Only those who possessed one could earn the favor of the elements and wield elemental power.

But Lumine had broken that common understanding!

Lumine wasn't from this world, and she didn't have a "Vision" corresponding to any of the elements. Yet she had somehow gained the ability to wield Anemo. So investigating and searching for clues in Mondstadt, the city protected by the Anemo Archon, was their only option for now.
