By noon the next day, Annie had wandered back onto the Orville's bridge. From far off, she heard Uncle Ed and the others apparently arguing about something. With a full stomach and nothing better to do, she naturally went bouncing over to join in.

Annie looked out the bridge windows with her beautiful green eyes and spotted the civilian ship hovering motionless in the nearby darkness of space, its many indicator lights glowing.
