Isaac, the robot from the planet Kaylon-1, certainly lived up to his robotic nature. He had a strong sense of time, just as he'd said he would. In only an hour, he'd successfully traced the residual pulse and located the area where Captain Ed and First Officer Kelly might have been transported.

After spending nearly an hour wandering around the ship, eating and drinking whatever she could, and sneaking peeks at just about everything, the troublesome little girl finally sauntered back to the bridge. When she heard the robot uncle's good news, she hurried over to his console, cheered, and loudly asked,

Before Annie could urge him on again, Robot Isaac performed a series of fluid operations and explained his findings. A star map marked with the trajectory appeared before Annie, whose beautiful blue-green eyes had widened in surprise.
