Annie didn't have much of an opinion about the Orville studying her Genn mobile suit. She simply set her big toy down in the hangar and let them send engineers to scan and study it day and night.
She even did as promised, downloading and providing the complete manufacturing and maintenance data from the onboard computer herself. She was curious and excited to see when the Planetary Union would manage to build its first prototype.
Annie had never doubted that the people of this world could build a Gundam.
After all, this world's technology had already entered the space age, with interstellar travel. The Orville could jump through space at a speed of ten light-years per hour. Its technology was on an entirely different level from that of the PLANT world, which was still limited to sublight travel within the solar system and infighting. So there shouldn't be much difficulty in copying a Gundam.
At most, they might find some unfamiliar or confusing parts because their technological trees had branched off in different directions.
Anyway!
It definitely wouldn't be a big problem.
Annie wasn't especially convinced that people in this world could really handle a Gundam well, and she was even less convinced they could reach her extraordinary level of piloting skill. But she wasn't going to worry about that. She just wanted to have some fun.
Over the next few days, before the Orville could try to detect what the robots were up to at the edge of the Kaylon system, Captain Ed suddenly received orders from his superiors. He was to represent the Planetary Union and sign the first peace agreement with the Quell?
Perhaps the Quell really did consider the Kaylon robots a major threat. Or maybe they had misunderstood something during the battle and decided that
