Night.
Amid the wood elves' light, ethereal music, which seemed to drift through a secluded valley, the four members of the "Rogue Alliance" gathered once more in the wood elf's treehouse bar, perched high in an ancient tree. The group consisted of Edgin, a bard with maxed-out "bragging and blustering" skills; Holga, a barbarian with explosive combat power but not much brains; Simon, a rookie warlock fresh out of the gate; and Doric, the shapeshifting druid girl. They began sharing the important information Doric had uncovered that day, when she'd infiltrated the castle in Neverwinter.
"Huh?"
"So, you first turned into a fly and saw the door to Neverwinter's treasury, but it was protected by some kind of Mordenkainen's Arcane seal?"
"Then..."
"You were discovered by that Sofina, whose true identity was actually a Red Wizard Witch?"
"After that, you had no choice but to turn into a rat and hide inside a suit of armor to pass yourself off as one of them, but you were discovered soon afterward. Then you had to turn into an eagle, a cat, an ostrich, and finally a fawn—and at the very last moment, you managed to escape Neverwinter?"
"Wow!"
"That's amazing. I never thought you'd actually turn into a fawn..."

"I've always said our team was missing a fawn. See?"
"At least it sounds pretty cool!"
After hearing the druid girl's story, the bard Edgin and the barbarian Holga seemed to have hit upon some private joke. They exchanged amused looks and teased her, chuckling to themselves. Perhaps they regretted not having seen Doric turn into a fawn, get shot at by Neverwinter's guards, and make a daring escape—or perhaps they wished they had.
It was clear enough!
Though they weren't married, Edgin and Holga
