Not long after the second round of the Battle of Neverwinter began, something happened that left the city's soldiers and civilians feeling utterly hopeless and helpless: the Red Dragon who had appeared at the start and fought so valiantly that she had held her own against two foes—and even gained the upper hand—had finally been defeated. The Red Dragon who belonged to Neverwinter had fallen after all.

After nearly an hour of fierce fighting against the two Black Dragons in the bay, she had been overwhelmed by their numbers. At last, she had gone down and floated in Neverwinter's harbor, her blood staining the docks and the bay at the mouth of the Neverwinter River red.

Still, she hadn't died.

After all, killing a dragon was incredibly difficult—especially when the dragon in question was Fat Orange, a plump Red Dragon whose vital organs were almost all buried beneath thick layers of fat.

She had merely lost too much blood, passed out from exhaustion, and collapsed, just as she had when she and Henk were captured after their defeat in the Mere of Dead Men.

The only difference today was that the two victorious Black Dragons were badly wounded too, and couldn't deal with her. So they had no choice but to leave her floating belly-up in the bay.

Regardless, her defeat dealt a tremendous, devastating blow to the morale and confidence of Neverwinter's defenders.
