In a short time, Annie had swiftly cut down the dozen or so hulking Greater Daemons of Khorne guarding the entrance, one after another. She didn't bother with their eyes, wide in disbelief even in death. Instead, she cheered as she carefully turned invisible and slipped into the cave.

This time, she didn't rush straight in recklessly. Instead, she crept inside carefully, full of nervous anticipation.
First, she wanted to see if there was anything fun in there. Second, she wanted to check whether she'd guessed right: was the source of the red fog hidden in this secret place by the daemons?

But when she cautiously peeked around and made her way into a vast, empty cavern, dimly lit and covered in claw marks, as if the daemons had made their bloodhounds dig it out, the gruesome sight before her left her stunned.
Inside the cave, countless humans had been slaughtered by the cruel daemons in all sorts of ways.
Then Annie saw that the daemons had made use of the heaps of stinking, severed limbs, the pools of blood turned reddish-brown, and the intense negative emotions of those who'd died in terror to create a bizarre crimson magic circle, covered in lines of energy.

The magic circle was currently giving off a powerful aura of ill omen. A rift hung above it, as if it led into the depths of Chaos.
The red fog that shrouded the area outside was pouring continuously out of the rift and spreading in all directions.
