To the utter astonishment of everyone at the meeting, that troublesome little girl treated the other side of the negotiations like old friends. She blithely spilled all her secrets, revealing that she wasn't from the Taiwei System and that she had only just dealt with the Warp Daemons and barely managed to stabilize Canopy Star.
Well, she hadn't spilled everything!
After all, she hadn't mentioned the most crucial issue of all: their military strength. Though they had a vast ground force of twenty or thirty million, it was really just a disorganized rabble, and they were urgently reorganizing it on Canopy Star. Nor had she mentioned that their only flagship was the paltry Noxus. Otherwise, Darius and the others would probably have gone back to pack their bags by now.
Of course, the only reason she hadn't laid all her cards on the table might simply have been that no one had asked. If they had asked her directly, there was no doubt that President Annie wouldn't have held anything back.
