Chapter 2999 (^▽^) Still Faster!
On Saturday morning, Gryffindor House had caught the Snitch in five seconds and ended the match, crushing Slytherin House by 150 points to zero. The whole of Hogwarts had been left stunned, and the students and staff had talked about it well into the afternoon, when the match between Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff began.
Thankfully, the match between Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff had been fairly normal.
The two teams had battled back and forth for nearly two hours, giving the whole school a thrilling display of competitive Quidditch. In the end, Ravenclaw's Seeker had made a beautiful dive, caught the Golden Snitch, and won the match by a huge margin, 320 to 170.
But unlike the spectators, who were still buzzing with excitement and wanted more, the Ravenclaw team wasn't happy at all, despite their victory.
That was because two more matches were scheduled for Sunday, one in the morning and one in the afternoon: Ravenclaw versus Gryffindor, and Slytherin versus Hufflepuff. And the Ravenclaw team, from its captain down to its players, had no good way to deal with Gryffindor's secret weapon: that terrifying little girl Seeker.
But they had no choice but to grit their teeth and face the challenge. So, at around eleven on Sunday morning, the third match of the Hogwarts Quidditch Cup season was about to begin.
The crowd at the Quidditch Pitch was even larger than it had been for either of yesterday's matches. By the time Ron and Hermione reached the stands, there wasn't a single seat left.
With no other option, they went up to the platform at the very back of the stands and stood with the many other students and staff who hadn't found seats, patiently waiting for the match to begin.
