A few days later, Gryffindor House was in an uproar again!
Of course, it hadn't literally been blown up. It was the Gryffindor students' spirits that had been blown to pieces.
In just a few short days, the Gryffindor students had woken up to find that the sky had fallen!
It turned out they'd been docked a whopping 150 points yet again, sending Gryffindor House straight to last place. They were now more than a hundred points behind even Hufflepuff House, which had spent years languishing at the bottom!
Seeing that, and remembering that the end-of-year exams and holidays were only two months away, the Gryffindor students had all but given up hope of winning the House Cup this year.
As for who'd lost them the points, once the Gryffindor students learned the details, they weren't particularly surprised. After all, who else could it be besides those two first-year "point-losing champions," Ron Weasley and the Savior, Harry Potter?
