Watching the high temperatures on the machine's exterior and the battle-scarred, smoke-stained state of the Freedom, Kira couldn't help sighing. He was about to fight yet another human faction. Seated in the cockpit of the Freedom Gundam, he felt a weight settle over him.
But soon, he pushed those thoughts aside and focused on the cockpit's many screens and the data flashing across them. His hands flew over the virtual keyboard as the blue light from the screens illuminated his increasingly mature, steady face and resolute features.
