Inside the pilot training room aboard the Tibbers, the lights shone brightly. Rows of simulator pods, each like a giant box, filled the room. Their indicator lights blinked green, showing they were available, while a large crowd of pilots gathered in small groups and waited patiently.

At that moment, Amuro was working skillfully at the control console, quietly uploading the customized data for every pilot who had come aboard the Tibbers to the training room's database.
"OK!"
"Input complete. Everything checks out!"
"You can begin."
Several minutes later, Amuro finally stepped away from the console, unhurriedly announcing that he had finished his work and that the simulated match could begin.

Once she heard they were finally done, Annie shot toward her simulator pod like a cheerful little sparrow.
Annie climbed into the cockpit with practiced ease, patted the control panel a few times, and, after making sure everything was in order, poked her head out. Wearing her signature adorable, mischievous grin, she called to Haman, who stood nearby:
