Night had fallen over the magical city of Äußerst. Although there had been a heavy rainstorm in the afternoon, the skies had cleared up, and the moonlight was quite bright. The air after the rain was lovely, too.
Compared to the brightly lit, bustling city center, the traditional restaurant on a street in a more remote corner of the city—one that was said to have been around for a hundred years—felt quiet and tasteful.
It was tucked away on an old street. The outside looked rather aged, and the inside had a historic feel to it, too. But the wooden building had been so well maintained that it gave off a sense of accumulated years, while the air was filled with the mingled scents of food and the faint aroma of freshly finished woodwork.
