(vv*) As she spoke, Annie found Little Bear Tibbers, whom she had tossed onto the ground to sit on earlier. She picked him up, gave him a few casual pats, then pointed again at the two warhorses still leisurely grazing nearby, signaling for Lania to get a move on.
"Huh?"
"W-we're leaving?"
Still groggy and utterly muddleheaded, Lania instinctively squinted at the sun beyond the tree canopy.
When she realized it had not even reached its zenith and it was still only morning at most, she lay right back down.
"How long have I even slept?"
"Lady Annie—"
"Please, let me sleep a little longer—"
"Can't we leave at noon?"
As she spoke, Lania simply rolled over, turning the back of her head, her back, and her bottom toward Annie. All she wanted was a little more sleep.

Annoyed, Annie simply kicked her in the bottom.
Unfortunately, Lania's bottom was protected. The kick only produced a crisp clang, while Lania merely grumbled a couple of things without showing any intention of getting up.
