In this pitch-black trench, Annie kept diving deeper at high speed. Since it was already nighttime on the surface, the light in the deep sea was growing fainter and fainter until there was no visible light at all—the kind that ordinary humans could see. It was so dark you couldn't see your hand in front of your face. Everything was pitch-black...
But...
For little Annie, this minor inconvenience wasn't a problem at all!
Even with darkness all around her and not a sound to be heard, the carefree, fearless girl continued using magic to control the currents and carry her along. Like a happy little fish, she darted diagonally downward at tremendous speed.
As for the silent, dark seafloor around her, that was even less of a problem.
With her darkvision, she could clearly see the beautiful corals on the seafloor that ordinary people couldn't, glowing with faint light and other colors invisible to the naked eye. She could also see strangely shaped reefs, rotting silt, bubbles rising from the seabed, little sea creatures darting away in fright, all kinds of fish, and seaweed of every shape and size.
It was a wondrous world...
With the help of her special vision, she could easily explore the seafloor, just like the Naga of Azeroth, without straining her eyes at all.
And as for the powerful water pressure that increased with the depth, that was even less worth mentioning!
Annie's body was already incredibly powerful, capable of surviving all kinds of hostile conditions in space. She didn't need any magic to move freely in this high-pressure, low-temperature environment where she couldn't breathe normally, and she didn't feel uncomfortable in the slightest.
