Misawa Cram School...
Even though it was already nighttime, plenty of students from all grade levels who had come to this cram school for "entrance exam tutoring and ability development" were still milling around in the lobby, going about their own business. Some were chatting and joking around; others had gathered to do their homework. They acted as though the terrible things that had just happened to the building and outside had nothing to do with them—or as though they had no idea anything had happened at all.
They also paid no attention to the two intruders who had finally managed to sneak inside: one tall and one small, both clearly not students and even less likely to be teachers. They just carried on with what they were doing.
"Hmph!"
"Looks like I was right. Misawa Cram School really has become that alchemist Aureolus Isard's personal base. Those Roman Orthodox thirteenth-order knights rashly attacked a place Aureolus had spent a full three years cultivating. That was an incredibly foolish decision..."
After circling around through a back entrance to avoid the seven surviving knights of the thirteenth order gathered outside the main entrance, Stiyl and the little girl following curiously behind him finally made their way from the staff corridor into the main hall. She had hardly said a word, asked no questions, and shown no sign of worry.
Aside from the students of "Misawa Cram School" bustling through the lobby and going about their business, the most eye-catching sight was a plate-armored knight sprawled motionless against one of the pillars, slumped over on the floor.
It was obvious that the man was a member of the thirteenth order. From his unmoving posture, the stillness of his chest, and the conspicuous pool of crimson blood that had spread across the floor,
