Afternoon...
Due to certain indescribable, unavoidable circumstances, little Annie now had no choice but to "reluctantly" skip out and go have some fun. She planned to stay out for the whole day, then sneak back home at night after everyone had gone to sleep—or maybe just play outside all night and return the next morning to get a good, long sleep?
But, well, it looked like there was a pretty good chance she'd go back that evening...
Annie had discovered that the Academy City outside was a complete mess. More than half the shops were closed, and there were very few people out on the streets, in the shops, or in the malls. The whole city was still in the midst of post-disaster reconstruction and restoring order, so it seemed bleak and deserted. With engineering and rescue teams working everywhere, nobody wanted to wander around streets full of rubble. There really wasn't much fun to be had.

There was no suspense at all: little Annie had, quite naturally, found herself a place to secretly enjoy a delicious meal all by herself, treating herself to a little something special.
No one here recognized her as the dangerous terrorist who was still wanted. She'd only disguised herself a tiny bit, changing into a little skirt she rarely wore and putting on a fashionable hat, so her style was only somewhat different from usual. Even so, nobody had easily recognized her.
Besides, the ID card she was using belonged to a brand-new, "legitimate" identity made by the little fat robot. Anyone who wasn't familiar with her or hadn't seen her in person would never connect a clever, lively, well-behaved, adorable little girl like her with the evil "terrorists" deliberately made out to be so monstrous on the TV news.
