The great disturbance caught the Jedi Knights and security droids completely off guard and caused serious damage to the bustling planet-city of Coruscant. It lasted for several days, and only after the Hero Federation's reinforcements arrived—a huge formation of those distinctive "T"-shaped battleships, numbering in the thousands, which jumped into orbit over Coruscant—did the Republic's capital, thrown into chaos for days, gradually return to the control of the Jedi Knights, the many Republic guards, and the security droids, restoring order.
There was no doubt that under the threat of those uniquely shaped, fearsome "T"-shaped battleships—warships resembling the flagship Phantom Menace, only somewhat smaller—terrorists who had taken advantage of the chaos to smash, loot, and rampage across Coruscant, along with schemers nursing ulterior motives and resentment, had lost their nerve. So, before the military could act, they had no choice but to back down and hand control of the planet-city back.
