Xiang Yuan fought Liao Yuan, Cloud Crane, Bamboo Goose, and Master Bai Yue while pretending to be the Heavenly Demon Sect leader, using their attacks to purge the demonic qi in his body. He escaped before they could discover his true identity, but Master Bai Yue lost track of him and then heard his voice behind her.
