• White Emperor King claimed Mist Wyrm King and Golden Crow King had killed Roc Demon King, and Bull Devil King agreed to work with him against them.
• Bull Devil King and White Emperor King interrupted Mist Wyrm King and Golden Crow King’s ritual, so Mist Wyrm King attacked Xiang Yuan.

Xiang Yuan waited for the demon kings to weaken one another, then summoned Xiao Lingyue, Chan'er, and Senior Jiang to help him fight Mist Wyrm King. Their combined attacks badly wounded Mist Wyrm King, who transformed into a giant wyrm and swallowed Senior Jiang as Xiang Yuan cut off part of his tail.

• Xiang Yuan lured Mist Wyrm King away from the plaza while Bull Devil King and White Emperor King fought Golden Crow King, and Mist Wyrm King later tried to kill him with a claw strike.
• Xiang Yuan survived the attack by shifting his heart out of his chest, wounded Mist Wyrm King with his blade, and opened a gate to summon Xiao Lingyue, Chan'er, and Senior Jiang.
• Senior Jiang struck Mist Wyrm King with overwhelming force, while Xiao Lingyue and Chan'er joined their powers in Sun and Moon Together in the Sky to break through his defenses and burn him severely.
• Xiang Yuan attacked Mist Wyrm King's Primordial Spirit through a blood sea and slashed his body as the wounded demon revealed his true form as a four-clawed wyrm.
• Chan'er freed Senior Jiang from the demonic energy, and Xiang Yuan flew toward the wyrm with Senior Jiang before cutting off part of its tail; the wyrm swallowed Senior Jiang.
