This Guy Doesn't Look Like a Good Person at First Glance!

During the New Year, Feeney took Skye to Hong Kong to spend the holiday with his parents, experiencing the festive atmosphere. The elderly couple grew fond of the local cuisine and decided to settle in Hong Kong for a while, which delighted Feeney.

As long as it wasn't New York, he was fine with anywhere. If Skye hadn't vehemently refused, he would have even wanted to send her to stay with his parents, keeping her away from New York.

In the new year, Feeney didn't get his fifth draw, but he did encounter someone at Kamar-Taj who was somewhat unexpected yet within his expectations.

Kassilius, a mage who, without his intervention, might have betrayed Kamar-Taj and joined Dormammu.

He even killed the Sorcerer Supreme, the Ancient One, who was already contemplating death.

Looking at this person, Feeney's expression was grave. At this point, he didn't have those dark circles under his eyes, and he wasn't even a mage yet. Dressed in a pale yellow cultivation robe, with messy hair and a scruffy beard, he exuded an aura of sadness and despair.

His eyes were as lifeless as if he were dead.

For someone who could spin a tale out of a glass of plain water, it was impossible to imagine he would betray them in the future and attempt to let Dormammu invade Earth.

Well, except for one person!

"This guy doesn't look like a good person at all. We should just let him leave!"

Feeney's repeated insistence made Mordo wonder if Kassilius had offended Feeney in some way.

"Feeney, he's just a poor man who lost his wife and son. He's come to Kamar-Taj seeking redemption. Why are you always targeting him!?"

"No, look at his face, his nose, his eyes – he definitely doesn't look like a good person!"

"Feeney, stop messing around."

Seeing Feeney being so unreasonable, Mordo became a little angry. Kassilius was brought back by him. Not long ago, he had seen Kassilius reeking of alcohol outside a bar.

Seeing his lost gaze, Mordo was reminded of his past self, so he brought him back to Kamar-Taj, hoping to help him.

"I feel like he won't be a good person in the future."

Feeney gritted his teeth. He didn't think the Ancient One didn't know what Kassilius's future held.

"That's why we should try harder to help him become a good person in the future," the Ancient One continued calmly. "Feeney, you should give him a chance. He hasn't made his choice for the future yet, has he?"

Hearing this, Feeney was somewhat speechless. Yes, no matter how you looked at it, the current Kassilius was just a pitiful man who had lost his loved ones.

As long as he hadn't truly chosen to defect to Dormammu, the Ancient One was willing to give him a chance. This was the Sorcerer Supreme of Kamar-Taj, a soft-hearted person.

"Sigh, alright."

Feeney knew he couldn't change the Ancient One's decision, so he could only sigh, hoping to have a chance to change Kassilius in the future.

"Feeney, don't always think about escaping danger, but about resolving it," the Ancient One said softly. "I believe that if it's you, you'll find a way to deal with any difficulty."

Feeney secretly rolled his eyes, not taking it to heart. She had once said he had such a great influence on the world, yet a year had passed, and it didn't seem like much had changed.

"I understand."

Feeney nodded heavily. The issue with Abomination hadn't been resolved yet, and now there was the added threat of Kassilius. Fortunately, this threat would likely take a few more years to brew.

After bidding farewell to the Ancient One, Feeney secretly took another look at Kassilius.

He had to admit, Kassilius possessed a unique charm. Despite his face being etched with grief and sadness, one could still discern a hint of untamed defiance about him.

Feeney didn't want to get too close to Kassilius for the time being, and Kassilius, for his part, also seemed disinclined to interact with anyone, projecting an aura that warned others to keep their distance.

Looking at Kassilius, Feeney's thoughts drifted back to Doctor Strange. He was the Ancient One's designated successor as Sorcerer Supreme, and she wouldn't step down until he had fully matured.

However, thinking of Doctor Strange inevitably brought to mind his magical talent. Comparing himself to Doctor Strange, Feeney realized that despite the passage of time, he still hadn't made any progress in his research on Spirit Bodies.
