Before long, though, Lin Yun and the others began spotting markings that looked like symbols. Each was a triangle with what seemed to be an explosion inside.
It was the symbol of the Rotting Clan.
Clearly, the Rotting Clan's lair lay further down.
They continued their descent for nearly an hour. They had no idea how deep they had gone.
Still, according to the young lady, since the passage sloped downward, they were only a few hundred meters underground.
Perhaps because the Rotting Clan was also throwing everything it had into its attack on Erbeis Lake,
there were no other Skaven guarding this rather secluded passage, despite the heavy forces stationed along it.
Soon, Lin Yun and the others reached a somewhat more spacious area.
They saw stretches of cavern, along with a large number of wooden planks and rocks used to brace the surrounding walls. The roughly assembled supports, along with the ramshackle planks, formed countless crude buildings. Above them, Dimension Stone had been used in a similarly crude manner to make lights like glowing pearls.
Most important of all, though, was the appalling stench that made it hard to breathe.
Fortunately, Sierki once again demonstrated her knack for the unexpected. She took something that looked like a pipe out of her bag.
Just as the others were about to tell her that she was too young to take up smoking,
her cheeks puffed out a little, and she blew out a string of tiny bubbles. Sierki
