Now that the Grey Seer had been killed and the Nurgle Champion taken care of, Lin Yun and the others had managed to recover a little. At least for Lin Yun, aside from his Psionics, he was pretty much back to full strength.
So they began sweeping the place.
They would completely clear out this Skaven nest, then destroy it.
Without a doubt, the most important thing was the portal.
If not for Tachi Bro destroying it, Lin Yun and the others might have had to face more than just the Grey Seer and the Nurgle Champion.
They would have been up against the Bloodrot Clan's main force, including a Chaos Sorcerer. Even Lin Yun would have struggled in that situation.
So the portal had to be destroyed. The device that activated it, everything connected to it—all of it had to be wrecked.
The Skaven had their own technology tree, so if they wanted to build something like this, they could. But at least this way, no one could "put it to good use."
After dealing with the portal, Lin Yun and the others searched the area and soon found the Rotting Clan's treasury.
It really was a treasury.
Skaven currency was a little different from that of the surface-dwelling races. They preferred to use Dimension Stone as currency.
So, without a doubt, there was a lot of Dimension Stone inside.
But there were plenty of other things, too.
After all, the Skaven had existed for who knew how many ages.
And as a former member of the Council of Thirteen, the Rotting Clan had amassed a rather rich collection.
A lot of the items had probably been stolen from the Empire of Man, or taken during raids because the Skaven thought they might be useful, then tossed in here.
