Without a doubt, the young lady was now like a human running at full speed as she raced across the land.

Fortunately, she was currently in the form of a Wind Elemental, so she didn't tire as easily.

But the problem was... the serpent dragon behind her clearly wasn't tiring easily either.

By one estimate... it could probably keep running for several days without a problem.

And, though she wasn't sure if it was just her imagination, the serpent dragon seemed to be getting faster.

Or perhaps it was more accurate to say that it was getting closer to her.

The thought made her scalp crawl even more.

Because of that, the young lady didn't notice the Wood Elves who had spotted them from the relatively sparse forest below.

Actually, at first, they could only see the serpent dragon.

After all, 133 meters wasn't exactly close, and although the young lady had turned into a Wind Elemental, she hadn't become completely invisible. She was at least translucent, though, so naturally they couldn't see her.

The Wood Elves' eyes could undoubtedly make out the serpent dragon.

And so, the Wood Elves hurried to report what they had seen.

However, in this forest, even the fastest Wood Elf clearly couldn't keep up with the speed of those two creatures.

That didn't matter, because the Wood Elves had magic, too.

Using a magical device at one of the watchposts, they reported directly to their queen.

And so, a large group of Wood Elves riding giant warhawks took to the sky. With a group Haste spell cast on them, the giant warhawks—which normally couldn't match the speed of either the young lady or the serpent dragon—flew faster than both, even with a Wood Elf on their backs.
