So after expressing a little gratitude to King Brock, Lin Yun prepared to leave.
Of course, Guts and the Dwarf Miner were both very pleased with the equipment they had received.
Guts's shield in particular was much like the young lady's Black Dragon Shield from before. It was a Living Shield, able to float around him and block attacks while he swung his weapons with both hands, without interfering with his attacks.
It felt just like having a satellite.
Just as Lin Yun and the others were preparing to say their goodbyes, the Dwarf King gave them some unwelcome news.
"By the way, Rat Slayer, you're heading to Marienburg next, right?" The Dwarf King clearly remembered Lin Yun only by the title he was best known by among the Dwarfs.
"Yeah. Is there a problem?" Lin Yun asked without thinking.
"Those northern barbarians seem to have joined forces with the savages from the south. They're over by Marienburg now. If you want your Greenskins to earn a good reputation, you might want to try going there." The Dwarf King was clearly no fool.
In fact, Lin Yun had made no effort to conceal his plans.
So the Dwarf King only needed to have a few Dwarf Rangers observe Lin Yun's movements to get a general idea of what he was up to.
Of course... as a Dwarf, the Dwarf King trusted Lin Yun greatly.
But as a king, he was also wary of Lin Yun.
In a way, this could already be considered a test.
