Background / History

The God Realm was the established divine authority over Douluo Star and its Lower Plane. Ascending to it required adherence to its rules and subjected gods to the monitoring of its existing deities, a constraint Li Fei rejected from the outset 39.

Its policies were hostile to Soul Beasts’ ascent. The Ice Fire Dragon King’s remnant souls warned that reopening the path to godhood for Soul Beasts would make Li Fei an enemy of the God Realm, as its gods would likely seal that path again 50. Other beings, including the Void Vine, also attributed restrictions on Soul Beast growth to the God Realm 85.

By the time Li Fei’s Willow Realm became the Primal God Realm, the established God Realm treated the new realm as an existential threat. It attempted surveillance, dispatched patrol gods and divine officials, and later considered direct retaliation, but its authority was progressively absorbed through the Primal God Realm’s temples and World Tree system 130 156 158 160.

God Realm Committee

The God Realm Committee was led by five God Kings:

• Asura God — exercised judgment authority and spearheaded investigations into threats from Douluo Star 130 131.
• God of Destruction — advocated aggressive intervention and Divine Punishment against suspected Lower Realm threats 130.
• Goddess of Life — opposed reckless destruction of Douluo Star and sensed the emerging Law of Life within the Primal God Realm 130.
• God King of Kindness — participated in authority tracing and ordered emergency measures during the authority crisis 160.

Emergence of a Rival Realm

Li Fei deemed ascension into the God Realm unacceptable because it would place him under divine rules and surveillance. He instead resolved to create an independent God Realm of Life 39. His proposal to establish a replacement realm was initially considered nearly impossible by the Ice Fire Dragon King remnant souls and later by Di Tian, who nevertheless recognized the Willow Realm as a genuine God Realm prototype 50 114.

Detection and Failed Surveillance

The God Realm detected unusual God-level energy and Dragon God-related fluctuations around the Star Dou Great Forest. Its investigations were obstructed by chaotic mist, altered laws, and the Primal God Realm’s concealment systems; the God Realm Eye was destroyed during one attempt 130 131.

Escalation Through Divine Incursions

The God Realm sent Patrol Gods, then Divine Officials, and eventually three angel deities to Douluo Star. Li Fei concealed these battles with the Covering Heaven Array, refined the intruders, and used their power to expand the Primal God Realm’s divine infrastructure 153 154 158 168.

Loss of Divine Positions

The Primal God Realm’s temples began claiming portions of the Sea God, Fire God, and Angel God authorities. This demoted their holders, destabilized the God Realm’s central authority, and confirmed that inherited god positions could be overtaken through their connections to Lower Realm faith and temples 159 160 171.

Collapse and Assimilation

After Li Fei became a Creator God through the Willow God Position, he fused Douluo Star with the Primal God Realm and attacked the Douluo God Realm directly. The four remaining God Kings’ combined forbidden arts failed, and the realm was consumed by the Primal God Realm, which emerged with a complete reincarnation order, expanded heavens, subordinate worlds, and the Willow God’s supreme laws 196.
