Li Fei grew up in Holy Soul Village and promised Grandpa Jack that he would repay the village for raising him. His martial soul initially awakened as an ordinary Willow Tree with only Level 1 innate soul power, leading him to seek a path modeled after the Willow God from his previous life’s knowledge 1.

At Notting City Primary Soul Master Academy, he defeated dorm boss Wang Hu but declined the daily position, instead becoming the dormitory’s “Big Boss” while Wang Hu managed routine affairs. He cultivated for a year to reach Level 10, then secured permission to hunt a plant-type first soul ring 3.

The Yin Yang Flower transformed his Willow Tree into the Yin Yang Willow and gave him the foundation to develop yin, yang, and eventually other elemental applications.
