Liu Zhi looked at the Corpse Soul Naga standing not far away and nodded with satisfaction. Its body was entirely grayish white, covered in fine scales, and crowned with long blue hair like water plants. It had a pair of slightly red, snake-like eyes and a rather heroic appearance. Standing upright, it was 1.8 meters tall, with a nearly 1.5-meter-long snake tail. It had four arms, but its hands were empty.

By now, he understood what an Undead Servant was.

An Undead Servant was simply a type of undead unit. Of course, high-level creatures like the Corpse Soul Naga couldn't be summoned with ordinary Summoning.

Ordinary Summoning could only be used on the most basic Undead Army units, such as Skeleton Soldiers, zombies, and ghosts. Anything beyond that required the corresponding blueprints and training grounds.

All of these would be great additions to Liu Zhi's Nether Palace. He was sure that with these things, his Nether Palace, now shrouded by a red moon, would soon become prosperous.

The Mass Grave, however, surprised Liu Zhi.

After he used it, the ghostly image of a Mass Grave appeared above his Nether Palace.

Liu Zhi could move it around freely. If a location was suitable for building the Mass Grave, it turned green; otherwise, it was red.

Liu Zhi wanted to pick a random spot and put the Mass Grave there, but when he thought of everything he'd seen upon entering this city, he knew he couldn't act recklessly.

The Nether Palace before him was his city. He needed to plan it carefully so he wouldn't have to keep changing things later.

After putting everything away, Liu Zhi took the three pieces of Lightning Coral and left the Nether Palace.

Once he was out, the blood moon in the sky disappeared, and the completely ruined city reappeared before him.

The whole city was still submerged in the trees, but it was at least better than the Nether Palace, which had been nothing but rocks and strange trees.

After leaving the Nether Palace, Liu Zhi noticed that the three pieces of Lightning Coral looked a little like the Thunder Stones from Pokémon. The only difference was that they were made of coral and had lightning symbols carved into them.

At last, Liu Zhi understood why there was a setting specifically meant for a gem or crystal. It had clearly been designed for this—the setting was exactly the right size.

After fitting the Lightning Coral into place, Liu Zhi gripped the Death Long Staff and closed his eyes.

Liu Zhi's mental power had already reached 3.3. The moment he closed his eyes, he sensed the Lightning Coral at the top of the Death Long Staff.

It would have been enough just to sense the Lightning Coral, but for some reason, Liu Zhi's mental power spread outward along it.

It spread across a radius of a hundred meters.

Before Liu Zhi could figure out what was happening, he realized he could lock onto a tree with his mental power.

"Is this the Death Long Staff strengthening my mental power?"

Before Liu Zhi could finish speaking, his mental power seemed to be sucked away, leaping along the Lightning Coral and striking the tree.

Then he heard a sharp crack, as if something had been struck by lightning.

Liu Zhi quickly opened his eyes and looked toward the sound. The tree he'd locked onto with his mental power had been struck by lightning and toppled over.

He stared at the scene, dumbfounded, and took a long while to recover.

"So that's how it works. No wonder."

Liu Zhi tried twice more and found that, just as he'd guessed, the Lightning Coral let him lock onto a target with his mental power before forcibly unleashing a lightning attack.

The attack was slow, but its power was no joke. It could also hit any target within a hundred meters with pinpoint accuracy, making it a pretty useful method.

"Looks like I'll have to collect more magic gems from now on."
