Two days later, the Corpse Soul Naga Liu Zhi had sent to fight the Sea Naga finally caught up with the Temporal Vengeance.
By then, the Temporal Vengeance had become a Ghost Fleet of sorts. Besides the Temporal Vengeance, which served as its flagship, three other Ghost Ships followed behind: one large ship and two small ones.
The large Ghost Ship was a two-masted vessel, no more than thirty meters long. It had eighteen cannons in total on its two sides, but they had all been replaced by Spider Cannons.
The small ones were even more pathetic. They were all single-masted fishing boats, with no gunports on either side. Each boat was less than ten meters long and carried four Spider Cannons. Wherever firepower was needed, the Spider Cannons would go.
Although these small Ghost Ships didn't look reliable, they were a major step forward for Liu Zhi. He had spent the past two days cruising around the nearby coast. Besides waiting for the Corpse Soul Naga to catch up, he had also been hoping to summon a few more Ghost Ships.
However, the Temporal Vengeance could only influence sailing ships—and even then, only those that had sunk beneath the sea.
Liu Zhi had spent half a day searching this area, but had only found these three ships.
That left him feeling rather helpless.
Liu Zhi had no idea that his actions over the past few days had put the retired old man who was watching him at ease.
When he saw the Corpse Soul Naga return with the corpses of the Sea Naga troops that had once belonged to Eagle Country, the old man nodded in satisfaction.
The Death Star Fleet had now reached the Gold Route of the Xida Empire.
Their allies had no right to know
