Attack from the Sky
Liu Zhi knew nothing about Eagle Country's plans for the Xida Empire.
He wasn't thinking about Australia, either. He had stopped outside the supply point partly to wait for the Corpse Soul Naga to return, and partly to see how many Ghost Ships he had now.
Now that the Corpse Soul Naga was back, and the number of Ghost Ships had clearly stopped increasing, Liu Zhi had no desire to invite trouble.
After sending the Corpse Soul Naga back to her cabin to deal with the Sea Naga corpses, Liu Zhi steered his fleet toward the Gold Route of the Xida Empire.
Liu Zhi had no idea that the supply point's officials were watching his every move.
Besides being the supply point's "governor" and the town's mayor, the official had another identity: he was a retired member of Eagle Country's Military Intelligence Agency.
Though he was only a level 3 Professional, he still had a few ways to keep watch on people.
When he saw that Liu Zhi wasn't heading toward Australia but was instead veering toward the Indian Ocean, the governor's face twisted into a scornful smirk.
"Trying to fool me? Not a chance. If you'd gone straight to Australia, I'd have admired your courage. I never thought you'd be scared off by the fleet of my great Eagle Empire. It won't do you any good. I've already reported all your information to the Empress."
Liu Zhi had no idea that someone from the supply point had reported him.
He continued to follow his plan.
Before he could get close to the Xida Empire's Gold Route, he suddenly sensed that something was wrong with the sky.
The wind over the sea died down, and the sun seemed to disappear from the sky.
