Faced with Goku's challenge, Piccolo did not respond.

He rotated the wrist holding his staff and slung it behind his back.

He raised his head slightly, and the edge of his hood slipped back a few inches. From within his black eyes, two incomparably sharp, icy glints shot forth.

A teeth-grinding crack erupted from his grinding knuckles.

A violently suppressed power finally found an outlet.

The hooded robe woven from silvery-white threads of light turned into countless fine golden Aura particles, dispersing inch by inch from his body.

The staff also transformed into a streak of blue light and sank back into his palm.

Before the golden Aura had fully dissipated, a blazing orange radiance burst forth from within Piccolo's body.

His sacred and imposing yellow-green skin began transforming across vast areas under the impetus of that energy.

Dazzling orange, like surging magma, swiftly replaced his usual green and spread over his entire body.

His appearance underwent an extreme transformation as well.

His once-deep black eyes reversed.

His pupils became a pure blood-red, while a ring of subtle yet exceptionally striking black markings appeared around his eyes.

Those two black outlines made his crimson pupils seem incomparably ferocious.

He inspired awe without even showing anger.
