Kuzan stood atop his ice sword, his gaze level with Godzilla's. He showed no sign of backing down, making his resolve clear.
"Little Leon, you're not thinking of leaving so easily, are you?"
Kuzan raised a finger and adjusted the black sunglasses on his face.
"You people just keep coming one after another..."
"Picking on me because I don't have anyone on my side, huh?"
Leon could only sigh helplessly. Godzilla couldn't scratch his head with his forelimbs...
He opened his massive jaws and let out a thunderous roar at Kuzan.
"No matter what, I'll keep you here..."
"Leon, I'm a Marine!"
Kuzan assumed Leon simply didn't want to talk to him. He hadn't realized that Leon wasn't a Zoan Devil Fruit user at all.
Godzilla couldn't speak...
Kuzan raised his right hand. Countless ice spears formed behind him. He swept his hand down, and the razor-sharp spears converged before stabbing toward Godzilla with unstoppable force.
From a distance, it looked as though an invisible giant wielding a long, bone-white spear was locked in battle with the ferocious monster before him.
Godzilla shattered the spear with a Tail Whip, but under Kuzan's control, the broken pieces quickly drew back together.
Kuzan, using Sword Flight, kept well out of Godzilla's reach. Even when Godzilla expended a great deal of energy to launch a surprise attack, Kuzan—already on guard—always dodged just in time.
Was this a case of digging a hole for himself?
Godzilla shattered another ice spear. As he caught his breath, he looked up at Kuzan, who darted nimbly from side to side across the sky.
