Return

The car hadn't driven far before planes began to descend from the sky. The moment a plane landed, a tall, thin Black man rushed out, heading straight for Tony. His demeanor and posture made one wonder if he and Tony shared some unspeakable secret.

A large crowd surrounded Tony, showering him with solicitous greetings and overwhelming enthusiasm. As for Saitama and the other two—no, three, including Yinsen—they seemed to be largely ignored.

Although Saitama and his companions had saved Tony, others likely saw them as having stumbled upon sheer luck, nothing worthy of attention.

Fortunately, they weren't forgotten during the flight. Saitama and the other two were lucky enough to board a plane, flying with Tony to the US Military base.

Upon returning to the US Military base, Saitama and his group were no longer ignored.

Instead, many people, many mercenaries, looked at them with envious, jealous, and hateful eyes.

This was one hundred million dollars, and it had been obtained by a seemingly idiotic bald man and a woman with no combat ability. In the eyes of these mercenaries, Saitama and his companions hadn't just gotten lucky; they had stolen money that rightfully belonged to them.

As a result, many looked at Saitama with a hint of ferocity, and some mercenaries even made throat-slitting gestures.

These mercenaries were definitely not good people, and they might even have moved to attack Saitama and Skye to seize the one hundred million dollars they felt was theirs.

Yinsen watched from the side, observing these mercenaries and thinking they were courting death. The force of Saitama's punch was deeply etched in his mind, unshakable. These mercenaries might be elites, perhaps each as strong as a special forces soldier, but compared to Saitama, they were far, far inferior.

"Kid." A large, burly mercenary strode up to Saitama.

"Huh?" Saitama looked up at the mercenary's fierce face.

"You really are a lucky bum. Kid, what are you going to do next? Are you going to keep all that one hundred million dollars for yourself? I'm telling you—" The man sneered cruelly, extending his huge right hand as if to grab Saitama's bald head.

WHAM!

Before anyone could see what happened, the man was sent spinning away, flying dozens of meters before crashing to the ground. His head was buried in the earth, leaving only half his body exposed, his legs twitching as if in a spasm.

"Can't you just talk properly? You have to resort to violence. Honestly. That's too much," Saitama complained.

Aside from Saitama's voice, there was almost no other sound. Everyone else stared blankly at Saitama. Glancing back at the still-twitching legs, the mercenaries couldn't help but swallow. Especially hearing Saitama complain about someone else being "too much," they almost rolled their eyes.

The mercenaries who had been contemplating targeting Saitama and Skye now began to abandon their plans. Saitama was a terrifying anomaly. While one hundred million dollars was a lot, and money was indeed very important—many would risk their lives for it—they wouldn't get the money even if they lost their lives trying to take it from Saitama.

Without lingering, Tony Stark ran over.

"Yinsen, and Mr. Saitama and Ms. Skye. I'm heading back to New York immediately. Would you like to come with me?" Tony asked the three.

"Sure, let's go together," Skye quickly agreed. Saitama naturally followed. In fact, if he could, Saitama could have run back faster than a plane, but the problem was he didn't know the way, and besides, Skye was with him.

Yinsen, however, frowned slightly and shook his head. "Forget it, Tony. I'll stay here. After all, my home is here."

"But wasn't your home destroyed? Come to New York with me. With our friendship and your abilities, you could join Stark Industries." Tony tried to persuade him.

"Forget it, Tony. I appreciate your kindness, but I was born and raised here. This is my hometown. I still want to stay here," Yinsen continued to shake his head.

"Alright then! But if you have time, you can come find me in New York. Of course, if I have time, I'll come find you."

"Okay, it's a deal."

Tony and Yinsen made their agreement, and Tony turned to board the plane.

Saitama and Skye followed Tony onto the plane, heading towards America.

On the plane, Tony couldn't help but look at Saitama a few more times, feeling a stirring of curiosity. Saitama's displayed strength had shocked him. "Saitama."

"Yeah?"

"Um, can I see your muscles?"

"Muscles?" Saitama blinked.

"That's right. Hmm, they don't look much different from ordinary people's muscles. Although they're a bit more developed than average, there's no way to tell they can unleash such immense power. How did you do it?" Tony sat next to Saitama, looking at his arm and even poking it.

"Don't do that. It makes me feel really weird," Saitama said, frowning and shifting away.

"Hmm, I'm just curious. How can one person possess such incredible strength? Did your genes mutate? I don't think even the legendary Captain America is this strong, is he?"

"Captain America?" Saitama looked blank.

"Hmm, you don't know Captain America?"

Saitama shook his head.

"Okay, it doesn't matter if you don't know. He's just an old relic buried in history anyway. But, did you use any gene enhancement serum, like Captain America? Uh, okay, you don't know Captain America. So, where did this strength of yours come from? If you don't mind, could you tell me?" Tony's eyes gleamed as he looked at Saitama. He was extremely curious about people with such formidable power.

After all, Tony hadn't built his Iron Suit yet and hadn't experienced its power. So, he was very curious about Saitama's extraordinary strength.

"My strength? I achieved my current power through arduous training," Saitama said solemnly, even seriously.

Skye, standing nearby, caught a hint of a smile in her eyes. She had a feeling she knew what Saitama was about to say.
