Liu Hu felt as if he were dreaming.
In the dream, he stood on a desolate plain. The surroundings were bleak, and he was all alone.
Dark clouds blanketed the sky above him. Streaks of blue lightning, writhing like long serpents, slithered across the heavens before finally converging.
Lightning as vast as a mountain crashed down toward Liu Hu.

The desolate plain became a vast blue ocean.

Liu Hu let out a series of agonized screams. He felt as though he had truly been struck by lightning. His skin, flesh, tendons, bones, blood, and internal organs were blasted to powder, wiped from the world completely.
When he came to, he found himself sprawled on the ground, utterly limp and unable to summon even the slightest strength.
