"Wood, is this guy a bounty pirate?"
On Sabaody Archipelago, Island No. 4, a sparsely populated area, a beautiful young woman with fair skin, a great figure, and long legs was holding a burly man, whose weight was clearly far beyond her own, in one hand. She asked the black-haired youth beside her.
The black-haired youth was half-crouched on the ground, holding a stack of bounty posters and comparing the faces of the other unlucky individuals lying on the ground.
If one looked closely, it would be apparent that there were quite a few people lying unconscious around the man and woman. Moreover, most of these individuals were prominent figures on Sabaody Archipelago.
Sabaody Archipelago is composed of 79 large trees. Islands No. 1 to 29 mainly contain slave trading shops, slave auctions, and lawless zones.

Wood and Gion landed in the Red Tree area No. 7 and were heading towards Red Tree No. 1. The journey along the way belonged to the lawless area of Sabaody Archipelago.
Gion was tall. Although she was wearing casual clothes, her beautiful appearance, coupled with her proud physique and long legs exposed outside her hot pants, quickly attracted the attention of some slave traders.
Although both Wood and Gion wore long swords at their waists, their young age made them easy targets in such a lawless area, easily mistaken for easy prey.
Both of them were exceptionally good-looking and young, which would fetch a good price in any slave market.
As for the long swords they wore at their waists, the human traffickers simply ignored them.
After all, the world was chaotic, and even half-grown children carried daggers when they went out. These traffickers lived by the edge of a knife; why would they be intimidated by two young people carrying long swords?
There were not a few human traffickers operating on Sabaody Archipelago. If they didn't act quickly to get their hands on such good merchandise, someone else would snatch it away.
They assumed that Wood and Gion, being so young, couldn't possibly be strong, so these human trafficking gangs made their move.
And then, in just a few minutes, they all collectively collapsed...
"Except for the guy in your hand, who is worth thirty-three million Beli, the rest are all worthless."
Hearing Gion's question, Wood compared the bounty posters in his hand again. He finally discovered with some dejection that out of the more than fifty people who had surrounded them, only the one in Gion's hand had a bounty on his head.
Don't ask where Wood got the bounty posters. Ever since they landed and he heard Gion mention that Marines get a commission for capturing wanted pirates, he had quickly found the most up-to-date and comprehensive collection of pirate bounty posters on the island.
"Most of the people engaged in human trafficking on Sabaody Archipelago are underground forces and bounty hunters. Some pirates might also engage in such activities while waiting for their ships to be coated.
I just didn't expect that trash like this would be worth thirty-three million Beli. The Marines' method of setting bounty prices is too hasty."
A pirate worth thirty-three million Beli, someone who was a significant figure in their own territory, was casually tossed aside by Gion like a piece of large garbage, her expression filled with disdain.
As Gion spoke, the human traffickers and pirates who were still hiding nearby and hadn't had a chance to make a move visibly swallowed hard.
As mentioned before, there were many people in this line of work on Sabaody Archipelago, and competition was fierce when good prey appeared.
Therefore, the number of people who had targeted Gion and Wood before was far more than the fifty-odd people lying on the ground now; many latecomers simply hadn't had a chance to act.
These latecomers had originally considered Gion and Wood their targets. However, after witnessing the battle that had just occurred, their restless hearts immediately cooled down.
Sabaody Archipelago is the entrance to the latter half of the Grand Line. Pirates who haven't entered the "New World" are, at best, rookie pirates.
Here, a bounty exceeding one hundred million is enough to be crowned a "Supernova."
Rookie pirates who possess a bounty over one hundred million before entering the New World are already considered remarkable figures.
A bounty of thirty-three million Beli, while top-tier on Sabaody Archipelago, still meant the individual was someone.
Yet, such a strong pirate, who had led his fifty-plus subordinates to attack these two young people, had the entire engagement concluded in less than three minutes.
What was even more astonishing was that the three minutes were not spent on the young man and woman, but on the pirate crew of over fifty people who were moonlighting as human traffickers.
The captain, with a bounty of thirty-three million Beli, was no different from ordinary fodder. In front of the long-legged beauty, he couldn't even last two rounds!
It was because they witnessed this scene that the other human traffickers hiding around realized that these young people were not easy prey at all, but ferocious tigers!
"There seem to be quite a few of their colleagues hiding around. Should we take care of them too? Maybe there's someone more valuable."
According to the commission Gion mentioned earlier, Marines could receive about one-tenth of a pirate's bounty for capturing them.
The unlucky guy Gion had just dealt with was worth thirty-three million Beli. One-tenth of that would be three million three hundred thousand Beli. Wood and Gion would each get half, totaling one million six hundred fifty thousand Beli.
Having tasted the sweetness of profit, Wood immediately felt that this was an incredibly fast way to make money. In just a few minutes, he had earned several months' worth of his salary. Thus, he immediately set his sights on the other hidden individuals.
"Don't do anything unnecessary. Don't forget we have other business this time. These scum have already wasted enough of our time."
For Wood and Gion, discovering the human traffickers hiding around was too easy. However, just as Wood was about to strike it rich, Gion grabbed him by the back of his collar and pulled him away.
Wood: "Wait a minute! Even if we don't deal with the others, at least we should hand over that guy with the thirty-three million bounty to the Marines to get the reward!"
Gion: "We don't have the leisure to do such troublesome things right now.
Besides, even if we leave him here, someone will help us deliver him to the Marine branch on the island."
Wood: "Nonsense! There's thirty-three million Beli lying on the ground. Which idiot wouldn't pick it up? But that money is no longer ours!
You damned rich woman, let go of me! You can't possibly understand what it's like to be a poor person!"
